OUR PROJECTS

Freedom Matters currently pioneers three primary projects and is trying to utilise these to help respond to Covid-19 in the community and the after effect.

Romsey Foodbank have three “community drop-in” sessions per week, where people are able to come to the Freedom Centre or North Baddesley Foodbank, to receive food and further support in a Covid-secure manner. Find out more about Romsey Foodbank online and on Facebook.

Romsey Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre provide four main services:

  • A debt counselling service, to help anyone struggling with financial debt

  • The CAP Money Course, to teach people how to budget, save and spend

  • The Life Skills Course, to give people the confidence and decision-making skills they need to survive on a low income

  • CAP Job Club

 

TLG is a Christian charity that helps churches to bring hope and a future for struggling children. We are involved in providing Early Intervention Programme in two schools in Romsey. To find out more, please visit the TLG website here.
