This Christmas at Freedom Church, we are exploring the three gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh that the Wise Men brought to baby Jesus.
Frankincense
The symbol of prayer and Jesus as our new high priest and mediator
1st Dec
Myrrh
A burial ointment, meaning that Jesus had to die to secure our salvation
8th Dec
Gold
The royal metal signifying Jesus' kingship, rule and authority
22nd Dec
By highlighting the significance of these well-known ‘gifts’ each week, you will be able to connect the symbolism within the story of Christ’s birth to a personal relationship with Jesus today.
