At the start of the year we had some great plans for Freedom Church, but none of us knew what was to come. Like many of you, we have had to quickly adapt to a new way of working.
The church has always been more than a group of people that meet in a hall once a week. The church is a community, it is a family. Even if we can’t meet physically we are still finding ways to encounter God in worship every Sunday from 10am through Church Online.
We also gather for prayer each weekday morning and have a number of Connect Groups and Courses that meet online throughout the week. Let us know if you would like to get connected into any of these and we love to help you.
And we continue to serve the needs of our local community through the work of Freedom Matters (which includes the Romsey Foodbank and our CAP Debt Centre) as well as providing Ongoing Care to the most vulnerable in our Church family through our pastoral team.
Thank you for those who have continued to support the work of Freedom Church and Freedom Matters financially at this time. Your generosity has been overwhelming and will help us to help others at this time and into the unknown future. If you would like to make a regular or one off donation to our ongoing work you can do so here.
The purpose of Freedom Church remains the same ‘to lead people in the pursuit of Jesus to see lives and communities transformed’ – we are just having to find new ways to achieve this… all of us… together.
Thank you for your love and support at this time.
